John Pereira

John is an Associate Professor in Finance at Kingston University, London. John completed his PhD in credit risk measurement and modelling and started his career working as a credit underwriter on unsecured loans for Citigroup.
John’s research interests are in the field of Accounting and Finance, with a focus on integrated reporting, sustainability reporting, risk disclosure, market discipline and financial institutions. His work has been regularly published in national and international peer reviewed journals and presented at international academic conferences.
John has over 12 years of experience teaching and training on a range of Accounting and Finance topics and specialize in delivering workshops aimed at leveraging the power of Bloomberg software for advanced financial analysis. John is also a Chartered member of the Global Management Accountant (CIMA) professional body.
